Creating a Nearpod Presentation
To create a nearpod presentation
1. Log into Nearpod.com
2. Click on “Create”
3. Click on the square with a blue paper and a + in the paper.
4. Drag the Welcome Back! Pdf from the desktop into the box.
You now have the beginning of a nearpod presentation. The content on the slides cannot be altered, but you can add the interactive slides.
To add an interactive slide to near pod
5. Click on the square with a blue paper and a + in the paper.
6. Follow the layout given to you on the colored paper in order to configure your nearpod presentation.
7. Click on the “My Presentation” button at the bottom left corner
8. On the main menu, click on the presentation and press “Publish”
Once a nearpod has been published, changes cannot be directly made on the file. You must make a copy or clone and then make alterations. Then just republish the new nearpod lesson.
9. Log into Nearpod.com
10. Highlight the presentation
11. Click Launch
12. Write the student PIN number on the board for the students
13. Swipe slides from side to side. The large slide is the slide the students see.
