Welcome to my Home page. Over my many years of teaching, (I grew up in Hacienda Heights, attended Los Altos High School, and graduated from Fullerton University with a degree in English and my teaching credential) I have been truly blessed to have taught so many wonderful students. A former student sent me a touching Mother's Day card in which she expressed her thanks for sparking her creativity, inspiring her in many ways, and instilling a love of literature in her heart. She wrote me this poem, which I would like to share with you.
Would fate please be kind?
I'm searching in vain to find
A Teacher like you.
You've led me somewhere
It's true, no one compares to
A Mentor like you.
Don't know where I'm from
But I hope I will become
A Mother like you. by Judy Zhou
These are the moments that make me realize that I have the best job in the world, and I will do my best to inspire all of my students to appreciate and love literature throughout their lives as well as to be prepared with 21st century life skills. I'm looking forward to a wonderful 2025-2026 school year!
