The California Business for Education Excellence (CBEE), has honored Alvarado on the outstanding success our school has made in raising student academic achievement. After an extensive analysis of student achievement data for every public school in California, Alvarado Intermediate school stood well above the rest in getting your students to grade level proficiency and beyond.
The list of Honor Roll schools continues to grow thanks to the hard work and effective practices of thousands of excellent principals, teachers and support personnel in our public schools. Since 2005 the Honor Roll increased from 261 high performing schools to an inspiring 2,108 high performing schools in 2012. This is a testament to the relentless focus on results for students that Alvarado staff have shown over the years. It is also a strong statement about how success is spreading in public schools across the state.
