STEM: College and Career Ready
Through working with STEM students and Mrs. Stevenson, we have learned this group shows our Alvarado HONOR values and beliefs through creative hands-on activities, problem solving, and exploring different career paths.
Through working with STEM, we have learned this group shows our Alvarado HONOR values and beliefs through teamwork, responsibility, and taking Ownership of their actions.
Throughout working with STEM, we have learned how Everyone Needs a Teacher to guide them, and that everyone is Gifted and Talented in different aspects of modules.
Teen Living
Through working with Teen Living, we have learned this group shows our Alvarado HONOR values and beliefs through putting in their best effort in whatever activities they do, using and sharpening their Gifts and Talents during everyday activities, and by treating everyone with Respect in school and outside of school-especially during teamwork.
ELD: English Language Development
Through working with ELD, we have learned this group shows our Alvarado HONOR values and beliefs though completing tasks to improve English (Never give up, progress), by allowing group work/recess indoors for ELD students to meet different people (Open-Hearted), and having personal projects to show students' their abilities (Gifted and Talented).
Leadership
Through working with leadership, we have learned this group shows our Alvarado HONOR values and beliefs through always including others, seeing all students have Futures, and knowing all students are Gifted and Talented.
